The wife of the late Troynell Reese continues to partner with their son, family, friends and the community to carry on Troy's legacy and love for education, E. E. Smith High School and North Carolina A&T State University.
Sherri is from Durham, NC and a 1993 graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, where her and Troy's love story began. She maintains a long standing career in Corporate America, the owner of CPR Credit Repair and Rebuild Services, LLC and the co-founder of I AM She an organization that empowers women through educational workshops, motivation, encouragement, exposure, resources, and services.
Sherri uses her super powers everyday to stay focused and passionate about the things that matter most!
The only son and child of Troynell Reese, Sr and Sherri. Troy, II continued the family legacy of the Golden Bull tradition by graduating from E. E. Smith High School in 2014. While at Smith, Troy II lettered in Basketball, Baseball, and Golf and made honorable mention in the Midsouth Conference for Basketball and Baseball in 2014.
Upon graduating from Smith, he continued his education at Methodist University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Management in 2018. While at Methodist, Troy, II played four years of college basketball and was named Most Improved Player in back-to-back seasons. He also become a charter member of the Alpha Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Troy II's career path took him to Nashville, TN where he managed at Belle Meade Country Club, one of the top 50 clubs in the USA and then transitioned to a career in the corporate sector.
Troy continues his connection to Basketball as a high school basketball official in Middle Tennessee, where he is rapidly moving up the ranks towards becoming an official at the college level.

A 1987 graduate of E.E. Smith Senior High School (EES). Mitchell met Troynell in middle school, but their friendship was cemented as members of The Magnificent. At EES, he was trumpet section leader, All-County and All-State Band and Chorus, a student athlete, and a member of the Student Government Association.
Upon graduating from EES, he attended North Carolina Central University (NCCU). He was initiated into the Tau Psi Chapter of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in 1989 and graduated Summa Cum Laude from NCCU in 1991 with a BA, Criminal Justice. While there, he also served as Drum Major of the NCCU Sound Machine. Since 1993, Mr. McAllister has worked for the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, DC. He serves as a Program Manager within the Office of Environment, Health, Safety and Security. Upon retirement from Federal service, he intends to continue his academic pursuits at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. His favorite quote is, “The way to offset color prejudice is to be awfully good at whatever you do.” He currently resides in Fredericksburg, VA with his wife, Diedra and two children.
A wife and mother of six charming children. She is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where she received a BS in Electronic Computer and Information Technology and a graduate of Kaplan University with her MBA.
Sparkle launched her career in North Carolina, where she worked with industry leading technology companies in the field of project management. This eventually led to her desire to own and mange her own company.
As a serial entrepreneur Sparkle owns/co-owns four successful businesses & continues to work in corporate America.
Sparkle's desires to see the progression of other, especially the youth, led her to co-found a non-profit organization with the focus of assisting youth in the communities of North Carolina by providing resources, education, mentoring and career opportunities.
A 1985 graduate of E.E. Smith Senior High School. Kenneth and Troynell originally met one another and became acquainted during middle school, but then established a solid friendship when Troynell arrived at E. E. Smith and joined the Magnificent Marching Machine as a freshman in the fall of 1982. Kenneth was a member of the “High Steppin’ EES Trumpeteers” during his time in the marching band under director Paul A. Russell. Current Magnificent Marching Machine Director Roosevelt Pratt was Kenneth’s section leader his freshman and sophomore years. Kenneth served as a Trumpet Section squad leader as a sophomore and as Section Leader as a junior and as a senior. Kenneth also participated in Concert and Symphonic Bands while at E.E. Smith, and was active in numerous other organizations in high school.
After graduation from EES, Kenneth attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh where he double majored in Economics and Finance, graduating in 1991 with a dual Bachelor of Arts in both fields. Since 1992, Kenneth has been employed by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, D.C. as a Senior Labor Economist working in the Office of Compensation and Working Conditions which produces a principal federal economic indicator (PFEI) known as the Employment Cost Index; similar to the wider known Consumer Price Index (CPI). Kenneth is also a proud life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., having pledged in the Fall of 1995 at the Silver Spring (MD) Alumni Chapter.Kenneth now resides in Fort Washington, Maryland with his wife Cindy.
A native of Fayetteville, NC currently residing in Charlotte, NC. He is a 1984 graduate of E.E Smith High School and a 1989 graduate of NC A& T State University in Greensboro, NC where he received a Bachelors of Science in Electronic Computer and Information Technology
Troy and Rick attended the same high school and marched together in the E.E. Smith Magnificent Marching Machine Band. They were lifelong friends of 46 years.
Rick is married to Debora Faye with two amazing children whom he loves spending time with along with his family and friends. In Rick's relaxing time he enjoys a nice cigar and traveling.
Married and enjoying their wonderful four children and two grands plus the love of traveling together.
Donald is a native of Fayetteville, NC and a 1988 graduate of E.E. High School. He is an amazing Chef and Grill Master.
He and Troy marched together in E. E. Smith High School Band, brothers of "Stick Phi Dogs" and had a lasting friendship of over 45 years. The stories that he can tell about the great times they had.
Being able to serve in an effort that honors his long time friend is truly a heart felt honor that allows Donald to give back to his community.
Katisha, a native of Tallahassee FL, is a great mother and friend. She graduated from Florida A&M University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems. She drives her corporate career in the bank industry accomplishing grand milestones . In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family!
A native of Fayetteville, NC and a 1993 graduate of E.E. Smith High School. Marcus continued his education at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC where he received a degree in Business Administration. He is a licensed Independent Insurance Broker with AL Kerr Insurance & Associates serving Fayetteville and Spring Lake, NC since 2001.
Marcus is married to Kenya with three children and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Marcus was initiated into Beta Chi Chapter of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in 2013. He served as Keeper of Records & Seal and Basileus of Beta Chi Chapter.
Marcus and Troy met when they were initiated into Beta Chi Chapter of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. They formed a common bond of friendship and served on the Mardi Gras and Social Action Committees to help uplift our community.
